Blair told aide 'Gordon will lose to Cameron'

The problems are mounting for Gordon Brown and the words of his previous Prime Minister will cut him deeply. Lord Levy had revealed that Tony Blair privately told him that he did not think Brown could ever beat Cameron in a general election. Even though Blair last night issued a statement categorically denying the claims and insisting he did believe Labour could win under his successor, there was consternation in Downing Street. Charges tabled against teacher accused of sending improper photos to students. Spokesman Vincent Rhodes tells 13News Sizow will be offered a new job with Norfolk Public Schools, but not a teaching position. Sizow had been free on $5,000 bond.

I hear a lot of people discussing the Democratic contenders in terms of policy and possibility and excitement. It's as if North Carolinians are registering to vote in record numbers because they see this as a choice between two strong candidates at a critical moment in history.
