(Credit: Getty Images) Chains such as Ann Taylor and Gap slashed prices by as much as 40% to 60% in a bid to nudge consumers to spend but some retailers are still expected to post drops this week in September sales at stores open at least a year. Though sticking to minimal and simple pieces is always safe , this fall I would not suggest the same! Fall 2008 trends are bold , eclectic , couture like, loud yet stylish..Spring / summer 2009 is loaded with colors and so are the predictions for color till 2010!! Go ahead and indulge in a colorful palette without the threat of color going out
